   Realizing that they have endured a hundred years and more that on the closest inspection there naturally might be some minor non detracting flaws .These might consist of expected tiny pinholes and any natural irregularities ( nubs ) in the weave of the cotton fabric.

Vintage 1900's Sweet Simple Batiste Gown

This soft Batiste Christening Gown is 32 3/4" in length, a generous 28" chest, 5" sleeve length , 57" hem circumference.

White and Sturdy !

Features a gathering at the neck with a delicate sweet trim of scalloped openwork white embroidery 3/4"wide lacework at the neck and sleeves. 1 pearl button closing in the back.  Hem is plain . If your preference is not so fancy ; perhaps for a baby boy in mind  this will fit the bill !

Such a sweetly hand detailed gown , white on white embroidery at the center of the bodice along with 7 rows of pintucking at each side. 

Hand embroidered scalloped design at neck , sleeves , and hemline ! Such a chore of love and patience to accomplish !

Neck , sleeves and hem accented with 1/2" lace . Pearl button closing . Measures 29 " in length , 29"  chest . A wider than usual size. 52" hem circumference. White on white embroidered design across the bottom front of this gown .

Finely Preserved in Grandma's Trunk !

Another vintage gown with white on white finely striped effect batiste cotton in excellent condition ready for your precious angel !  Measures 26 1/2 " in length.

20" chest measurment, 10 " neck , sleeve length 6"

Ruffled lace covers bodice with one ruffle going over the sleeve to the back of the bodice. This lace is 1 inch wide and in a lovely pattern . The bottom has 3 rows of lace and 2 rows of pintucking .  Closes with 2 old pearl buttons.

Christening pillow

This vintage Lace and Satin Christening Pillow is in excellent condition ; no holes , rips or stains .

Its origin is from Ireland , measures 7 " by 12 " is surrounded by generous fine. 4 " needle lace  . Pillow is an ecru white in color. Top is trimmed with daisies where original white satin ribbon weaves through.

Rare to find in such great condition !

Makes a special addition to your Baby's Christening !
